Georgia Smart Fall Workshop

 

 

Are you interested in Smart Communities? Would you like to see how your city/county/community/organization can get involved?

 

 

Join us for the Georgia Smart Communities Fall Workshop on Thursday, September 10, 2020.

 

 

 

This workshop is for communities of all sizes in Georgia to learn and share about smart community development. The workshop will include a keynote panel composed of international and national experts and practitioners in smart communities and will highlight the projects of the 2nd class of the Georgia Smart Communities Challenge. These community projects provide real world examples on how to harness emerging technology, data analytics, and other smart processes to improve citizen quality of life. The City of Albany, from the Georgia Smart Communities Challenge 1st class will also give an update on their project. Finally we will kick off projects from the communities selcted for the 2020 Georgia Smart Communities Challenge.

  • Industry experts and academic practitioners
  • Nonprofit and philanthropic organizations

 

This event qualifies for 3 Certification Maintenance credits for your American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification from the American Planning Association.

SCI2 is university-wide and intentionally works across the Georgia Tech’s schools, colleges, and research units to foster multidisciplinary research and teaching for community impact.
